HEAT’s mission is to provide a unique health and mental health program that focuses on the special needs of young people (13-29) who are at risk or living with HIV/AIDS and to remove the barriers that often prevent youth from accessing health care. Flatbush Community Theater / Flatbush Theater Project

Flatbush Theater Project is a course of improvisational theater technique, play writing and play devising for youth who come from different schools. Students connect and create with one another. The program is held at Flatbush Community Theater, a fully functional blackbox theater on the corner of Church Avenue and Stratford Road.

The Rising Heights Program. Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center is located on 650 Fulton Street in New York, and we provide comprehensive healthcare and support services. At the Rising Heights Program, we provide the highest quality care for people living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C for over 30 years now. We work as part of the early intervention initiative and my role with BPMC is to educate patients on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections, provide confidential HIV testing, identify high risk sexual behaviors, and reduce the risk of transmission.
