HEAT – Health & Education Alternatives for Teens – Program

Health & Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) is a unique program that focuses on the special needs of youth ages 13-24, who are HIV infected or at risk. All of our services are free, confidential and comprehensive. Set in a youth friendly atmosphere, HEAT operates a full service clinic and removes the barriers youth often face when accessing health care services. The HEAT Program was founded in 1991, making it the first of it’s kind in Brooklyn and the most experienced. We are committed to providing age appropriate and culturally competent care for all youths – straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and from all ethnic backgrounds.
